1. About Us

Sideways Derby Comps (“we”, “us”, “our”) operates online skill-based competitions offering prizes including vehicles and cash alternatives. By entering our competitions, you agree to these Terms of Service.

2. Eligibility

  • Entrants must be aged 18 or over
  • UK residents only unless stated otherwise
  • Employees or company owners are not eligible.
  • We reserve the right to verify identity and age

3. Skill-Based Entry Requirement

All paid entries require the correct answer to a skill-based question. Entries with incorrect answers will not be entered into the draw.

A free postal entry route is available (see Section 7).

4. Competition Entries

  • Entry is complete once payment is received and answer is correct
  • Tickets are limited unless stated otherwise
  • We reserve the right to refuse entries
  • Automated/bot entries are prohibited

5. Winner Selection

  • Winners are selected at random from correct entries
  • Draws are conducted using a random number generator
  • Draws may be live-streamed for transparency
  • Winner will be contacted via phone/email

6. Prizes

  • Prize details are listed on each competition page
  • Vehicles may be supplied with MOT unless otherwise stated
  • Cash alternatives may be offered at our discretion
  • No prize substitutions unless offered by us

7. Free Postal Entry

Free entry is available by sending:

  • Your full name
  • Address
  • Phone number
  • Email
  • Competition name
  • Correct answer

One postal entry per envelope. Illegible or incomplete entries will be void.

8. Payment

Payments are processed securely via our payment provider. We do not store card details.

9. Refunds

  • Entries are non-refundable unless competition is cancelled
  • Refunds returned to original payment method

10. Competition Cancellation

We reserve the right to:

  • Extend competitions
  • Cancel competitions
  • Offer cash alternative
  • Refund all entries if required

11. Winner Responsibilities

Winners must:

  • Provide ID
  • Provide address
  • Respond within 7 days

Failure to respond may result in redraw.

12. Liability

We are not responsible for:

  • Website downtime
  • Payment processor issues
  • Delivery delays
  • Vehicle faults after handover

Prizes are provided “as seen”.

13. Privacy

Your data is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

14. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms at any time. Continued use means acceptance.
